My favorite ingredients (peanut butter and chocolate) cross paths again in this delectable recipe which results in the creation of these sweet, savory and slightly crunchy Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Bon Bons. All I can say is YUM!
- 2 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter (melted)
- 4 c. crushed Rise Krispies (takes around 6 cups pre-crushed to get this amount)
Shape into 1″ balls. Place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Freeze overnight.
Melt together and keep warm:
- 6 oz. or 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1 giant Hershey’s chocolate bar (roughly 9 oz. if you need to use smaller bars to equal 9 oz.)
Dip each PB ball in the melted chocolate and place on wax paper to harden. OR Place each PB ball in a petit four wrapper/mini cupcake tin and coat with melted chocolate just to cover. Let set until hardened. Enjoy!
