Post #100: Cheers to 2012!

Happy 2012! This year is going to be Gourmet Gab’s best year yet. New videos, tasty recipe ideas and other exciting ventures are all to come. Have noticed the new icon on the right sidebar? Gourmet Gab is now a part of the Foodie Blogroll!

I (Gabriela) have moved back into the dorms for the second semester of school, which means that I am back to eating dining hall food. This is a huge bummer to me. Thankfully I have some sweet friends who will let me use their kitchen to satisfy my cooking fix and produce some recipes for the blog. It’s really a win-win deal for them!

This semester I will begin food blogging for an award-winning, student run publication called the The Downtown Devil. The blog will be a resource for college students, along with downtown Phoenix residents, about incorporating  locally grown and produced food into their lifestyle. Even if you don’t live in Phoenix you can be inspired by the recipe ideas. Stay tuned for post links!

I would love to hear your suggestions for Gourmet Gab this new year. Any recipes you would like to see or video ideas? I appreciate all your support in 2011. Let’s make it another great (and delicious) year!

  1. Love the blog!! It will be good seeing you more downtown…loved your 12 days of Christmas ideas! The hot cocoa and buttered rolls was a huge hit for breakfast!! Keep up the great work that you do.
